Seresto Collar is designed for the protection of cats from flea infections and flea-borne diseases. The collar effectively controls flea allergy dermatitis and prevents flea infestations for up to 8 months. Seresto collar ensures the safety of the cat by killing 98% of the existing fleas within 24 hours of application of the collar.  

How does Seresto Flea Collar for Cats Works?

Seresto Collar consists of two active ingredients namely, Flumethrin and Imidacloprid. These ingredients release themselves at a steady rate, in low concentrations to spread on the entire surface of the skin. They do not have to be spread into the blood as the mode of action does not require fleas to bite. When fleas come in direct contact, Imidacloprid eliminates the fleas. The other ingredient Flumethrin works in coordination with Imidacloprid to elevate its activity against fleas.

How to Use
Directions

  • The collar should be used by only one animal.
  • Remove collar from the pouch before use.
  • Unroll the collar and remove all the plastic connectors.
  • Adjust the collar around the neck of your cat without tightening it too much.
  • Leave at least space of 2 fingers between the cat's neck and the collar.
  • Pull collar over the loop and cut off the excess length extending beyond 2 cm.
  • The collar should be worn continuously to ensure proper protection.
  • For growing kittens, check the collar periodically and adjust the fitting accordingly.
