Nuheart Generic Heartgard Green Pack for Medium Dogs 11-23kg (26-50 lbs)

Nuheart medium dog is a generic version of heartgard tablets used for the prevention of heartworm disease in dogs. It has the same ingredient as heartgard brand to effectively prevent heartworm disease in dogs. The Nuheart green pack is made especially for medium dogs (26-50 lbs) and due to its palatable meat flavor, it is loved by dogs of all breeds.

Nuheart contains the same ingredient as Heartgard Plus; Ivermectin. It is a monthly treatment for the prevention of heartworm. Ivermectin restricts the development of larvae into an adult worm, which protects your dog from infestations and the diseases spread by it. These meat-flavored tablets are highly-palatable and safe for use in all sizes and breeds of dogs, except border collies and other herding breeds.

Nuheart (Ivermectin) for Medium Dogs (136 mcg)

Nuheart consists of Ivermectin (136 mcg), a broad-spectrum anti-parasitic agent which is effective against larval heartworm larvae from fully developing into adult heartworms. This ingredient eliminates the heartworm larvae thus preventing heartworm disease from affecting your dog. It kills the larval stages of heartworm within 30 days of infestation.

How to Use
Directions

  • Before commencing the treatment it is advisable to get your pet checked thoroughly for any prevailing heartworms
  • If the results for heartworm microfilaria are negative then start administering Interceptor Spectrum tablet to your dog
  • The very first step is to weigh your pet
  • Give one tablet directly into mouth
  • Mix the chewable along with the food of the dog
  • Make sure that all the food is eaten by your for effectiveness of the treatment

Contraindications:

  • The side effects of Ivermectin are rare at the recommended dosage

Caution:Collies including Border Collies and other breeds are sensitive to Ivermectin. Please consult your vet before giving this treatment or look for alternatives to Ivermectin for the treatment of parasites.
