Nexgard Combo Yellow is a broad-spectrum treatment designed for cats for protection against various external and internal parasites. It is a potent spot-on treatment for 8 weeks and older kittens and cats, weighing between 5.6-16.5 lbs (2.5-7.5 kg). It kills fleas and ticks and improves the signs of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).
Nexgard Combo contains a trio of powerful actives that effectively kills fleas before they can lay eggs, treats and prevents flea infestations, treats and controls tick (Black-legged tick and Lone star tick) infestations, and aids in the treatment and control of roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms. Moreover, it is also effective in preventing heartworm disease.
Nexgard Combo Flea, Tick and Worm Treatment for Cats
Nexgard Combo Yellow is meticulously formulated with three active ingredients – Esafoxolaner (10.80 mg), Eprinomectin (3.60 mg), and Praziquantel (74.70 mg).
Esafoxolaner targets ectoparasites including fleas and ticks. It works by targeting the central nervous system of these parasites, causing the uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system leading to the death of insects. Eprinomectin leads to the hyperpolarization of the nerve or muscle cells of internal parasites causing paralysis and death. This component prevents heartworm disease and treats and controls roundworms and hookworms. Praziquantel treats and controls tapeworms by causing muscular paralysis of these worms.
