Nexgard Combo Purple Pack For Cats Up to 5.5 lbs (2.5 kg)

Nexgard Combo Purple is a broad-spectrum treatment designed for cats for protection against various external and internal parasites. It is a potent spot-on treatment for 8 weeks and older kittens and cats, weighing up to 5.5 lbs (2.5 kg). It kills fleas and ticks and improves the signs of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).

Nexgard Combo contains a trio of powerful actives that effectively kills fleas before they can lay eggs, treats and prevents flea infestations, treats and controls tick (Black-legged tick and Lone star tick) infestations, and aids in the treatment and control of roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms. Moreover, it is also effective in preventing heartworm disease.

Nexgard Combo Flea, Tick and Worm Treatment for Cats

Nexgard Combo Purple is meticulously formulated with three active ingredients – Esafoxolaner (3.60 mg), Eprinomectin (1.20 mg), and Praziquantel (24.90 mg).

Esafoxolaner targets ectoparasites including fleas and ticks. It works by targeting the central nervous system of these parasites, causing the uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system leading to the death of insects. Eprinomectin leads to the hyperpolarization of the nerve or muscle cells of internal parasites causing paralysis and death. This component prevents heartworm disease and treats and controls roundworms and hookworms. Praziquantel treats and controls tapeworms by causing muscular paralysis of these worms.

How to Use
  • Cut open the blister and remove the applicator
  • Hold it in upright position, pulling the plunger slightly.
  • Twist and pull of the cap
  • Decide the spot between the area of skull and shoulder blade of cat.
  • Part the fur until the skin is visible, place the tip of the applicator, and empty the entire content on that spot
  • Make sure to apply the treatment on the skin and not on the fur.

Safety
  • Apply it on the skin of the cat; a spot that they cannot lick it off; optimal area will be between the head and neck.
  • Dispose the treatment immediately after use
  • Wash your hands immediately after application
  • Avoid sleeping with your cat for 24 hours of application
  • Do not repeat the application before one month
  • Do not administer orally
  • Should specifically be given to cats and not to any other animal.
  • Restrict children and people from touching the area of application until it is fully dried

Contradictions

  • It has not proven efficacy on pregnant and lactating cats

Warning

  • Do not provide the treatment to cat in case of hypersensitivity.
  • Avoid the treatment if cat is allergic to any of the active ingredients
