Nexgard Chewables for Small Dogs is indicated for the treatment and prevention of fleas and ticks. Just one chew of Nexgard protects dogs from fleas, Lone Star ticks, Black-legged ticks, American dog ticks, and Brown dog ticks for one full month. Nexgard is also indicated for the prevention of Lyme disease in dogs, as a direct result of the killing of black-legged ticks. Due to its delicious beef flavor, this chewable tablet is very easy to dose and is preferred by all dogs. It can be given directly as a treat or with food
Nexgard for small dogs (4-10 pound) starts killing existing fleas within 30 minutes after administration and kills 100% of fleas in 8 hours. This tasty chew kills new fleas even before they can lay eggs and therefore prevents the risk of household contamination. Nexgard can also be used as a part of a treatment strategy for the control of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD). It is safe to use for puppies as young as 8 weeks of age and weighing more than 4 lbs.
