What Is Credelio Chews?

A beef flavored palatable chew, Credelio Flea And Tick Treatment For Dogs is an oral treatment that eliminates the fleas and ticks instantly. The monthly treatment kills fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and ticks [Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick) and Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog tick)]. It kills all adult fleas within 12 hours of administration. The chew can be given to puppies 8 weeks of age and older, and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater.

How It Works?

Lotilaner is an ectoparasiticide belonging to the isoxazoline group. Lotilaner inhibits insect and acarine gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)-gated chloride channels. This inhibition blocks the transfer of chloride ions across cell membranes, which results in uncontrolled neuromuscular activity leading to the death of insects and acarines.
