Advantage Multi Flea, Heartworm & Worm Treatment for Dogs

What is Advantage Multi?

Advocate is an ideal product for treating multiple parasites in dogs. The topical solution is effective against fleas, roundworm, hookworms, and whipworms. The multi-spectrum treatment prevents heartworms for an entire month. Advocate treats sarcoptic mange, ear mites and demodex mites. The spot-on provides full protection against the major parasites for one month. It eliminates existing parasite infections and protects your dog from harmful diseases.

It is safe to use in dogs and puppies from 7 weeks of age.

How Does Advocate for Dogs Works?

Advocate contains two key ingredients – moxidectin and imidacloprid. The two compounds work together effectively in protecting dogs from various parasitic infections. Imidacloprid kills fleas that can cause dermatitis, and destroys ear mites, which can ear infections in dogs. Moxidectin is an anthelmintic drug that kills parasitic worms and helps in the control of heartworm and intestinal worms. The product treats and controls roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), kills larval, immature and adult worms. It eliminates and prevents hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense, Ancylostoma ceylanicum, Unicinaria stenocephala), whipworm (Trichuris vulpis), generalised demodicosis (Demodex canis), sarcoptic manage (sarcoptes scabiei), ear mites (Otodectes cynotis), and lice (Trichodectes canis, Linognathus setosus).

How to Use
Directions

  • Treat your dog according to the body weight.
  • Remove the required tube from the pack.
  • With the help of cap, break open the seal and remove the cap.
  • Apply between the shoulder blades.
  • Part the fur until the skin is visible.
  • Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube firmly twice to apply the solution directly on the skin.
  • Empty the entire content of the tube at the visible spot.
  • Ensure that the solution does not go into pet’s eyes or mouth.
  • Do not allow pet to groom until the application area is dry.

Contraindications:

  • Do not use Advocate for Dogs on cats.
  • No known contraindications found yet.

Warning:Dogs of some breeds like collies are sensitive to moxidectin. They can suffer more or less serious adverse effects if treated at dose rates slightly higher than the recommended ones. Consequently, dosing must be as accurate as possible.
