What is Effipro Spot-On?

Effipro Spot-On for Cats is a long-lasting flea and tick treatment for cats. The topical solution controls infestations caused by fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and chewing lice. It provides 5 weeks protection from fleas and 4 weeks protection from ticks. It starts working against fleas within 24 hours of application and against ticks within 48 hours of application. The spot-on prevent flea allergy dermatitis and kills various tick species including Deer ticks that may transfer Lyme disease. It removes lice infestation and safe to use on cats of all sizes. It is suitable to use on cats and kittens from 8 weeks of age.

How It Works?

Effipro for Cats contains active ingredient Fipronil. It is an effective adulticide that destroys adult fleas before they lay eggs. It remains effective against fleas for up to 5 weeks and ticks for up to 4 weeks. It directly attacks the central nervous system of parasites and blocks the normal function. This causes hypertension and eventually destroys them. The non-greasy solution also acts on chewing lice. It remains effective even after bathing, water immersion or exposure to sunlight.

How to Use
Directions

  • Use only as directed.
  • Hold the pipette upright and break open the top of the spot-on pipette along the scored line.
  • Part the cat’s fur on the back of the neck until the skin is visible.
  • Place the tip of the pipette directly onto the visible skin.
  • Squeeze the content several times at the spot.
  • Empty the entire content at one or two different points along the cat’s back.
  • Ensure that the product is applied to an area where the animal cannot lick it off.
  • In case of multiple cats, ensure they do not lick each other after treatment.
