Advantage Flea Treatment for Dogs

What is Advantage?

Advantage is a monthly flea protection treatment for dogs. The spot-on formula starts working and within 5 minutes stops flea bites. This scientifically proven flea control eliminates 98-100% fleas within 12 hours of treatment. The fast action destroys adult fleas before they lay eggs and further prevents flea infestation for four weeks. The topical solution prevents flea allergy dermatitis and controls flea re-infestation. The waterproof property makes it work even when pet goes for swim or have bath. Safe to use in pregnant and lactating bitches, the monthly spot-on has no possible side effects on canines.

It is safe to use in dogs and puppies 7 weeks or older.

How Does Advantage for Dogs Work?

Advantage is an ideal flea control product for canines. It contains key ingredient Imidacloprid. This ingredient directly attacks the nervous system of the flea, which paralysis it and eventually kills them. Within 12 hours of application, 98-100 % of fleas are eliminated. How to Use

Directions

  • Weigh your dog before starting the treatment.
  • Part the fur at the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
  • Place the tip of the applicator at the spot and press firmly.
  • Empty the entire content of the pipette on the visible skin.
  • For dogs over 25 kg apply in divided doses between the shoulder blades on the back between the hips and one point in between.
  • Ensure that the Advantage flea control does not get into your pet’s eyes or mouth.

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Consult a vet before using it on debilitated or age animals.
  • Do not treat puppies younger than 7 weeks of age.

Contraindications:

  • Though rare, individual sensitivities may occur. If signs persist take your dog to a vet.
  • If licked the application area accidently, salivation may occur occasionally. This may disappear within short-time.
