What is Interceptor Plus?

Interceptor Plus is easy to dose chewable that protects dogs from five types of common intestinal worms. This oral treatment helps prevent the deadly heartworm disease in dogs. It also treats and controls adult whipworms, tapeworms, roundworms, and hookworms. Interceptor Plus is recommended for dogs and puppies 6 weeks and older, weighing 2 pounds or more.

One simple tasty chew of Interceptor Plus protects dogs from dangerous internal parasites like heartworms (Microfilaria) and other intestinal worms for one full month. This broad-spectrum chewable comes in the form of a chicken-flavored chew that is easily accepted by dogs. Dogs love this treat-like chew and pet parents appreciate the ease of dosing. You can simply give the chew once every month by hand or add it to your dog’s food and make sure your dog swallows the complete dose.

How Does Interceptor Plus Work?

Interceptor Plus contains the two key ingredients; Milbemycin Oxime and Praziquantel. Both these powerful ingredients offer safe and effective broad-spectrum protection against five types of dangerous worms in dogs. Milbemycin Oxime effectively helps prevent heartworm disease as well as controls intestinal worms like roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms. Whereas, Praziquantel treats and controls tapeworms.

How to Use
Directions

  • Weigh your dog beforehand to ensure dosage accuracy.
  • Read the product label carefully before using the treatment.
  • Administer one chew directly by hand. Alternatively, it can be added to a small amount of dog food.
  • Administer in a manner that encourages the dog to chew instead of swallowing without chewing.
  • It may be broken into pieces and administered to dogs that usually swallow treats whole.
  • Make sure that the entire dose is consumed. If a dose is missed, re-dose immediately.
  • Administer one dose every month for year-round protection.
