The topical formula treats and controls a variety of tick infestations including Black-legged ticks, Gulf-Coast ticks, and American dog ticks. Moreover, Revolution Plus treats and controls ear mites as well as gastrointestinal worm infections such as roundworms and hookworms.
How Dose Revolution Plus for Cats Works?
Revolution Plus contains two key ingredients – Sarolaner and Selamectin. Sarolaner eliminates insects and acarines by over-stimulating their nerve cells. The latter ingredient, Selamectin, paralyzes and eliminates a wide range of parasites by interfering with their chloride channel thus, disrupting their neurotransmission. It hinders the activity of nerve cells in arthropods and therefore, leads to paralysis and death. This is an ideal product for treating a wide range of parasites and preventing future infestations.
