Capstar Flea Treatment For Dogs

What is Capstar?

Capstar is a fastest flea control product. The oral treatment works instantly within 30 minutes and expels adult fleas on dogs. The tasty tab is a quick remedy for heavy flea infestation. It effectively kills fleas for 24 hours and protects your dog from harmful flea infestation and flea allergy dermatitis. The oral pill is safe for pregnant and nursing dogs.

Capstar is safe to use on dogs and puppies 4 weeks and above.

How it works?

Capstar is designed to kill adult fleas feeding directly on the blood of your dog. Following oral dosing, the active ingredient Nitenpyram in Capstar reaches the animal’s blood. After 15 minutes of consuming Nitenpyram-treated blood, fleas stop feeding and dead fleas start to fall off the treated pet within 30 minutes of administration. The fast-action formula eliminates about 99% of fleas and prevents further re-infestation.

Please note that due to Elanco’s acquisition of Novartis Animal Health, the product packs may have varied manufacturer’s name according to the available stock.

I give it right before our grooming appo

I've been using this for 6 years and it has always kept my sweet little pup bug free- it's a bargain compared to trying to eradicate an infestation and the grief that will put you through. I do not take my dog to public places but if I did take her to a dog park I would certainly use it then too..
