Program Plus is an effective once-a-month oral medication for pet dogs (age 4 weeks or above and weighing more than 2 pounds).  Program Plus tablets are recommended for prevention and control of flea infestation, prevention of heartworm disease and treatment of adult gastrointestinal nematodes such as hookworms, roundworms and whipworms.

This product does not kill adult fleas.  For total flea control, you may administer Program Plus and Capstar tablets along with application of topical spot-on liquid solutions.

  • Weigh your dog and select the right dosage.
  • Now administer these tablets orally into the mouth of the pet.
  • Can be mixed with food.
  • Note to give the tablets with food or immediately after mealtime.
  • Repeat after one month.

Safety

  • Not for puppies less than 2 weeks of age.
  • Do not overdose and check the correct dosage.
  • Keep away from children and pets.
  • The product is for dogs only. Do not give to cats.
  • If your pet is off heartworm treatment for six months, then perform heartworm testing before administering Program Plus.
  • Store in cool, dry place.
  • Wash hands after treatment. 

Possible Side Effects

Although very rare, dogs may experience moderate and temporary hypersensitivity reactions, such as pale mucous membranes, vomiting, hard breathing or excessive salivation. These reactions are due to the release of proteins from dead or dying microfilariae and are not a direct toxic effect of the product.
