Equimax Tablets - Oral Wormer for Horses

What is Equimax Tablets?

Equimax Tablet is an excellent oral wormer for horses. It treats various internal worms in horses and protects them against worm infection. It treats mature and immature form of gastrointestinal worms including roundworms, tapeworms as well as bots and lungworms. The oral treatment when given regularly controls intestinal worm infections in horses especially during the grazing season.

How It Works?

Equimax Tablets contain two key ingredients – Ivermectin and Praziquantel. Ivermectin is effective against various intestinal worms including lungworms, pinworms, roundworms and bots. The other ingredient Praziquantel acts on tapeworms and aids to eliminate them through the system. Both ingredients are safe for horses and do not cause any side effects.

How to Use
Directions

  • Weigh the horse before the treatment for correct dosage.
  • Should be given orally.
  • During the administration for the first time, combine the tablet with small amount of food or treat to increase the probability of acceptance by the horse.
  • If the horse resists or the required dose is not ingested then seek an alternative treatment from the veterinarian.

Dosage:

  • Up to 100 kg - 1 tablet
  • 101-200 kg   - 2 tablets
  • 201-300 kg   - 3 tablets
  • 301-400 kg   - 4 tablets
  • 401-500 kg   - 5 tablets
  • 501-600 kg   - 6 tablets
  • 601-700 kg   - 7 tablets
  • 701-800 kg   - 8 tablets

Safety
Safety

  • This treatment is strictly for horses and no other animal species.
  • Administer this treatment after the first three months of gestation and during lactation.
  • Wash hands after use.
  • Dispose the waste products according to the law.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Do not expose to eyes or skin. In case of exposure, rinse eyes with lot of water.
  • Following withdrawal of the first dose, use the product within 6 months.
  • Do not treat horses meant for human consumption.
  • Keep the product at a room temperature of below 30 degrees Celsius.
  • Never administer this treatment in foals younger than two weeks of age.
  • Do not smoke, eat or drink while administering this treatment.
  • Store part-used syringes below 25 degrees Celsius.
