Comfortis Plus is formulated using two powerful treatments: Spinosad and Milbemycin Oxime. Spinosad works on fleas, whereas Milbemycin Oxime works on internal parasites like intestinal worms and heartworms.
Spinosad acts on the nervous system of the fleas, triggering their nerve cells. This leads to involuntary muscle contractions and tremors, which leads to the destruction of fleas. It starts killing fleas within 30 minutes and eliminates 100% of them within 24 hours.
The other active ingredient, Milbemycin Oxime, attacks intestinal worms and immature forms of heartworms. The anthelmintic effectively controls heartworms and intestinal worms protecting the dog from harmful infections.
