For pets, all\nthis is frightening, and even lethal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s important to keep your pets safe during and after the July 4th celebrations and so, we\u2019ve put together below a list of safety tips for you to follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Tips to keep your pets safe on Independence day:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Don\u2019t let your pets roam freely<\/strong> at parties and events where they can reach potentially unhealthy and toxic food easily.&nbsp; Pets love eating scraps and crumbs fallen on the floor, which may make them sick. <\/li><li>Make sure your pets are <strong>away from the hot barbeque grills or sizzling pans<\/strong> during the parties.<\/li><li>Keep <strong>alcoholic drinks out of your pet\u2019s reach<\/strong> as they may try to quench their thirst from your beverage and end up with alcohol intoxication.<\/li><li><strong>Secure all the doors and windows<\/strong> as there\u2019s a possibility of your pet running away due to all the chaos happening during the celebrations. <\/li><li>If possible, <strong>keep your pet tucked away in a safe room or crate<\/strong> from where they won&#8217;t be able to flee, as there&#8217;s a risk of them sneaking out through an open door when you&#8217;re hosting guests. <\/li><li><strong>Provide them with a peaceful space to rest<\/strong>, preferably where the party music or fireworks are least audible.
